Confusing styling leaves the judges wanting more.

Ankur and Sharon summed up Guest Bedroom and Redo Room Week as "outrageous".

The pair felt the repercussions of blowing $53,000 over their budget, with all their renovation decisions needing approval from Scott Cam and Jo from finance moving forward.

To make matter worse, House 3 were dealt a devastating blow when 'Blue tape' Nate spotted an issue with the plastering of their ceiling.

And with the Domain Listing Challenge fast approaching, the pair had a massive amount of work to do to prepare their home for 100 potential buyers.

Despite their rough week, the couple seem to be getting back on track with their budget and managed to get their house sorted in time for judging.

Scroll through to see what judges Shaynna Blaze, Neale Whitaker and Darren Palmer thought about Ankur and Sharon's guest bedroom.

"[The] biggest thing that I hope the judges takeaway is that we've paid proper attention to the changes they told us to make," Ankur said before judging.

"Judging is always full on, like you're so tired, you just want good feedback, so fingers crossed we get it."

As the three design experts entered House 3's guest bedroom, Neale was instantly struck by its colour.

"It's very pink," he noted.

"It's nice. I think it's pretty," Darren said.

"Nice is a dangerous word, Darren," Neale warned.

Darren thought the colour choice was deliberately chosen for a child's room.

"If you are a 10-year-old that liked pretty things, then you'd like this room," he said.

She pointed at different aspects of the room, admitting she didn't feel like it was deliberate to make a child-like room.

"I think this is their interpretation of an adult room," she said.

"Yikes then," Darren chimed in.

Shaynna also criticised their use of Grafico wallpaper, which was a beautiful floral design consisting of pink tones.

As Shaynna gazed around the room, she started to notice several clashes.

She thought their chosen abstract artwork didn't work with their wallpaper, calling the choice "completely wrong".

"This is how not to put pattern together," she said.

She also thought the two love chairs at the end of the bed were "too big".

"Why do you have two chairs sitting there [that] you have to brush to walk past to get around the other side of the bed?" she questioned.

While the chair was cute in design, the she didn't think it was practical for a room.

Neale wasn't sold on their space either.

He thought the room needed to be re-styled, especially with this heart shaped 'Amour' rug, which is the Spanish word for 'love'.

"For goodness sake, get rid of this little rug which makes it look cheap," he said.

"This is an adult guest room but, to me, it's way off the mark. It doesn't feel luxe."

Darren agreed, adding: "Style this a bit more in a child-like direction and then you've got a story to tell a family buyer looking for a luxury home."

But trying to find the positives around the room, Darren praised House 3's execution.

"This is probably one of the best painting jobs Ankur and Sharon have done," he pointed out.

Even though he wasn't a fan of the styling of the room, he complimented the craftsmanship and workmanship, calling it "excellent" and "a bloody good effort".

Ankur and Sharon opted for a neutral-toned colour palette for their bed, complimenting the overall pink theme of the room.

They chose white sheers to dress the windows, creating a really soft feeling in the space and letting light flow in gently.

Not to mention their little side table added to the corner of the room.

They styled the table with two unique glasses and a brass-coloured water jug, giving it a sense of luxury.

Adding a personal touch to the room, House 3 left a hand-written note of the table accompanied by a jar of chocolate freckles.

While Shaynna wasn't a fan of their wallpaper artwork, Ankur and Sharon opted for a simple and subtle mirror to the corner of the room.

Despite receiving some negative feedback over the styling of their room, Darren didn't completely write-off the space.

"I still think it's a really salable, marketable house. I think it's got great proportions, it's in a great location, fantastic views, beautiful architecture," he said.

"So, the prospective buyer buying this house they could still buy a real estate gem."
